Wonderfully colorful, very magical and beautiful Chullo ceremonial hats with ancient sacred designs and patterns.

They are uniquely handmade from wool blend and individually hand-beaded from the magnificent Andes of Peru.

Chullos are ancient Andean hats with ear flaps to keep your ears warm during cold seasons, which have been used traditionally for thousands of years, by the indigenous peoples of the Andes.

Traditionally, these Chullo ceremonial hats are worn by the Q’ero or other indigenous Andean peoples for ceremonial events and special feast days.

1. Q’ero – Ceremonial Chullo Hat –
– Exquisite and beautiful beaded hat with white glass beads, colorful wools, and super bright tassels.
– Sizes are approx EXTRA SMALL to SMALL with approx 44cm head diameter with no stretch.
– These are the standard indigenous very small sizes that are made by the Q’ero.
– They do not stretch due to tight beadwork.
– Head diameter is approx 44cm, but they can be just placed on top of head, as skull cap too.
Hat size is approx 23cm width and 32cm height excluding bottom tassels, or 55cm height including bottom tassels.
Measurements for when the hat is laid flat. Excludes measurements for top tassels.

2. Pitumarca – Ceremonial Chullo Hat –
– Lovely and super colorful beaded with white beads, colorful wools, and super bright tassels.
– Sizes are approx MEDIUM to LARGE with approx head diameter 60cm with stretch.
– These ones are made from stretchy wool blend and bigger, so have more stretch, and are more comfortable than the Q’ero ones.
– Head diameter is approx 60cm.
Hat size is approx 27cm width and 30cm height excluding bottom tassels, or 60cm height including bottom tassels.
Measurements for when the hat is laid flat. Excludes measurements for top tassels.
